Adult/Child & Infant CPR Mask
Our Emergency CPR mask is designed with the rescuer/first responder in mind. Sized for use on adults and children, our clear mask allows the rescuer to position it properly and monitor the victim. Our soft, pliable bladder ensures a secure seal. Mask can be used with the standard one-way valve (included) for patient rescue or with our CPR Training Valves during CPR manikin training. Mask may be cleaned and reused. Dispose of valve after patient or training use.
In the event of an emergency, CPR can be performed on infants, children, and adults. One of the critical tools used during infant CPR is an infant CPR mask. An infant CPR mask is a small, handheld device that is designed to deliver rescue breaths to a baby who is not breathing. It is made of soft plastic and has a mask that is placed over the baby's nose and mouth. The mask is connected to a one-way valve that allows air to be breathed into the baby's lungs but not out, preventing contamination of the rescuer. The use of an infant CPR mask is essential in performing CPR on infants, as the mask allows for more precise administration of rescue breaths which, in infants and children, are very important to improve survival chances. Infants have smaller airways than adults, and the mask can help to deliver the appropriate amount of air without overinflating their lungs.
