The essentials of any mobile medical kit are aspirin, an epinephrine auto-injector pen, and oral glucose. An organized medical pack is key to quick response times. An EMT cannot take any chances with a patient's health by giving them medication that could induce an allergic reaction because she does not know the patient's medical history.
